But the WTF nature of an almost unanimous Gabler victory at least makes up for some of it. I feel like in the year 2032 when we are on Survivor 63 we're all gonna be like, "wait… am I crazy or did some jabroni who called himself the AlliGabler actually win Survivor?" And the answer will be yes… yes, he did. As long as it actually happened and I'm not having another fever dream or drunk on too much Survivor .

But it illustrates how this final Tribal was a little lackluster due to the simple fact that the jury members were all too normal and well-adjusted. Like, just decent, nice, regular people. Not a raging inferno like my man Gabler used to take out Jesse. I think it was the moment that I had confirmed with her that I had an idol. My wife told me before going out of the game, "Cut someone before they cut you." And that was my mentality. So in a way, that kind of was the Lindsay vote and the Geo vote.
What to Watch
The Napiers are transforming what was once a kitchen into an office that doubles as a guest room, complete with a custom desk made by Ben. Erin turns to lamp maker Bryan to transform an “inoperable” saxophone into a lamp for Brandon’s home. Bryan previously worked with the “Home Town Takeover” star on a gift for her nephew.

I knew at that point that people knew. But I knew Cass at least had a guarantee because I told her about it. And so for me, it was really like, "I'm just gonna cause chaos." Because at this point, my body has given out.
Karla can't take advantage
Real-life couple Heather Krueger and Chris Dempsey, who inspired "Once Upon a Christmas Miracle"; singer-songwriter Lisa Loeb; and knitting expert Vickie Howell, who crafts DIY wine bottle covers. Tatyana Ali and Dondre T. Whitfield ("Christmas Everlasting"); Julie Hagerty ("Instant Family"); and chef Will Gilson, who cooks spaghetti squash gratin. Martina McBride cooks a hash brown breakfast casserole with tomato gravy; and Jane Lynch and Kate Flannery perform a special holiday number.
However, my position on jury threats has not changed. If you're really going to bury someone to fellow jurors just because they voted you out, that is super lame. Soooooo, I guess you can hide in a dangerous game? Or this game was not particularly dangerous? All I do know is that for Karla, that challenge loss would prove to be crushing.
Fans Have a Lot of Thoughts About Lisa Rinna's Choppy New Haircut
For those who have read these Survivor recaps over the years, that may come as no great surprise. But I need something to help me make sense of what just happened on Survivor 43, and in such dire times of need, that's when I turn to my most trusted friend… alcohol. From the indies sure to be jockeying for Oscars, to a new Halloween and Pinocchio, here are the movies we're most excited about this fall. In his new memoir, the actor shares some of the half-baked pitches he heard from people who wanted to reboot The Karate Kid — years before Cobra Kai came along.
"The Cowboy Way" stars Bubba Thompson and "Booger" Brown. Registered dietitian Annessa Chumbley cooks a one-skillet pork with Brussels sprouts and apples. Dr. Sonia Batra answers skincare questions.
In that moment, she turned on her number one ally, an opportunity Jesse Lopezgleefully took. He purposely tried to leave her out of the next two votes, putting Karla in the rough place of being blindsided while also dealing with someone who knew she wanted her gone. After Jesse's move using Cody Assenmacher'sidol had her impulsively using hers, she hit her lowest moment in the game on Day 24. Surprisingly, Karla was beaming wide when her torch got snuffed, taking her threat status as the highest honor. When we spoke with Karla Cruz Godoyin the preseason, we highlighted her life story being one of struggle, then triumph.
But the unimaginable started to become very imaginable as that final Tribal Council against Cassidy and Owen continued on. He was skillfully able to point out his strengths without laying it on too thick and painting himself as some sort of strategic Svengali, which most likely would have elicited eye rolls. Ben ended up splitting the wood to make two swings for Brandon’s nieces and nephews.
But there was just something that kept pushing me to say, "You got this. Your communities are behind you. Your ancestors are behind you. Do what you got to do to stay in the game." I think I told Cass, "Just in case, if for some reason, they bring it back as a third time." Because I already helped wash it out twice. So that's when I told her about it.

A very cool challenge, I might add. One that took place on both land and sea and involved buoys, obstacles, puzzle pieces, and a super random phrase to solve. Actress Kellie Pickler from the Hallmark Channel original movie Wedding at Graceland and she joins us in the kitchen to cook.
Karla thinks she has a target on her back and doesn’t want anyone to know about her idol. She starts fake crying in front of Owen and Cody, she wants to make it through one more vote. She walks away and Cody tells Owen he doesn’t think she has an idol, he agrees.
Obviously, challenge wins are important for a little thing called immunity, but in terms of being résumé builders, they just aren't. And there is one actual problem when it comes to winning that final challenge. So Karla had an advantage in the first immunity challenge.
